Episode 23 – Jack the lad & Breck Bednar

*This episode contains disturbing audio recordings*

We had an issue with recording this week and it was done on our phones, the audio is not what what we would like but will be a one off. Please excuse the mic scratching and background noise.

This week on Twisted Britain Nadine tells the story of the original Jack the lad, Jack Shepard, big thanks to Simon for the research, and Bob tells the story of Breck Bednar a victim of online grooming.

Please see www.childnet.com for information about keeping yourself and your children safe online, http://www.breckfoundation.org/ is the fondation Bob talks about in this episode.

Bob and Nadine recording in The Settle Inn, StirlingAbout Twisted Britain

Each week we take it in turns to tell 1 long story and 1 short story from British history always with a lean towards the twisted.

The recording happens in the back of the Settle Inn, the oldest pub in Stirling (established in 1733), so we have no idea whats going to happen during recording! We hope you feel like you’re in the pub with us, so get a drink, listen in and enjoy yourself.
